Condolences
My deepest condolences of David's passing. I just recently learned of David's passing through the Edinboro Alumni magazine. I was a long time friend of David's from Edinboro throughout the years. David lived next door to me for a year in the dorms. We would communicate throughout the years. Truly sadden about David's passing. God Bless

David was a friend from Edinboro. Loved his history of Titusville area even then. Good Man gone too soon.
My wife (Judi) and I learned of David's passing in The Boro Fall 2021 alumni magazine. I was one of David's classmates and lived a few doors down from him in the dormitory. We thank you for your obituary write-up and are remembering you and David in our thoughts and prayers.

I met David in the early 1970's when we were living at the same place. I am happy David had a successful career as a historian, although his life ended too soon. As for myself, I have been with Komatsu Joy Mining for most of 11 years now. I'm sure David has done much research on Joy. My sympathies to family and friends.

The staff of Benson Memorial Library wishes to express our deep condolences on the passing of David Weber. He was a faithful patron and researcher at the library for countless years and his expertise will be missed.
David was such a wonderful knowledgeable man. He was a joy to listen to about the history of the town and buildings.
My sympathies to David's family and friends. When you spoke of David Weber, you spoke of the Titusville community. He was as much a part of our little valley, as the Drake Well and the oil boom days. To say that history was his passion is akin to saying that the sun is a bit warm. He lived and breathed knowledge and the quest for it. Anyone that David helped, came away a better, much more informed person for it. It won't be the same here, not seeing him, with his cap and briefcase, off to solve yet, another piece of local historical debate or incomplete knowledge. David will be missed, but always remembered.
With deepest condolences to you and your family, Mel...

So so sorry to hear of David's passing. What a knowledgable man. I got to know Dave at Drake Well many years ago at the oilfield picnics and volunteering on the replica and standard rig.
What a wealth of information he was.
You all have our deepest sympathy for you loss.
Dave is having a great reunion with family and friends. I can just hear him and our dear friend Augie Holtz talking about the oilfields !
Thank you David for always being kind to everyone and for selflessly sharing your knowldege with all.
I know that Choirs of Angels sang you to your eternal rest. Till we meet again where there is no more heartache or sorrow in GLORY WITH OUR BLESSED LORD JESUS

David was a kind soul whose passion for history provided countless tales over the years. His contributions to the history of the Oil Region cannot be measured and he will be greatly missed. Sympathy to the family during this time of loss.
