Please accept my sincere sympathy for the loss of your mother.I saw her name in the alumni news and knew my mother, Martha Heeter, would want me to reach out to you. My mother considered Jean one of her oldest and dearest friends..I often heard stories of bridge club and other get togethers that I never got tired of hearing..The fact that they were both avid readers and swapped books was something my mother cherished very much..My mother passed away a month before Jean and I'm sure they're having a long gab fest after being reunited in heaven...Sincerely, Deborah Heeter Neish..

Once the weather turned, there was Jean on the porch of SouthWoods with a big book in her lap - you could count on it! She was kind & welcoming to my mother when she moved into SouthWoods & I always appreciated that. Sympathy to her family during this sad time.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. Being raised around the corner form the Jonson family I have known the Johnson's for as long as I can remember. In the late 70's I moved next door to them & Jean was a wonderful neighbor who became, not just Mrs. Johnson, but my friend. She always had the best disposition & a ready smile. May you rest in peace, Jean. You will be missed & what a long productive life you had.
