Obituary of Mary L. Warner

Mrs. Mary L. Warner, 72, formerly of Pleasantville died at 4:20 PM on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of Prospect for the past several years. Mrs. Warner was born on May 23, 1939 in Titusville to the late Lawrence and Violet Proctor Barker. She married Jack C. Warner on June 22, 1957 in Titusville. Mr. Warner preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2007. She attended Pleasantville schools and was a homemaker. Mrs. Warner is a member of the Church of God in Evans City. She loved her church, being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Warner is survived by four children, James L. Warner and wife Paula of Centerville, Brenda Evans and husband Brian of Prospect, John M. Seyler of FL., Scott Seyler of Warren, several foster children, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a brother, Milton Eldred and wife Kathy of Hydetown; five sisters, Betty Murray and husband Richard of Warren, Becky Walters and husband James of Titusville, Blanche Hart of Titusville, Rachel Walters and husband Marvin of Hydetown, Pauline Frantz of KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gardner and Joseph Eldred; and two sisters, Twila Hopkins and Elsie Anthony. Friends may call at the Church of God in Evans City on Monday from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the church on Tuesday at 10:30 AM with Pastor Keith Karns, officiating. Interment will be in Curry Cemetery, Titusville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of God 800 S. Washington St., Evans City, PA 16033. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N.
