Obituary of Gregory Alan Lohr

Gregory Alan “Greg” Lohr, 46, of 406 N. Martin St., Titusville died at 12:45 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2011 from injuries sustained in an airplane accident. Greg was born on May 14, 1965 in Buffalo, NY a son of Edwin and Patricia Chrispen Lohr of Centerville. He married Judith L. Fulton on May 25, 1990 in Las Vegas, NV. He was a graduate of Maplewood High School, class of 1983. Greg was currently employed in the maintenance department with the Titusville Housing Authority. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Titusville F & AM Lodge #754, Oil City Lodge of Perfection, the York Rite Master Mason’s, and the Titusville Aero Club. Greg enjoyed the outdoors, camping, riding his motorcycle, boating most of his life, and his most recent passion of flying. He was a devoted family man who loved his wife and kids. Greg is survived by his wife Judy Lohr of Titusville; two children, Ty Gregory Alan Lohr and Sydney Mae Lohr both at home; a brother, Eric Lohr and his wife Jamie of Centerville; his mother-in-law, Mary M. Fulton of Titusville; five brother-in-laws, Warren “Skee” Fulton and wife Sandy, Neal Fulton and wife Leslie both of Titusville, Richard Fulton and wife Debbie of Greensburg, Frank Fulton and wife Julie of Erie, Mary Lou Strawbridge and husband Burdell of Titusville, Anne Voltz of Landsdowne, VA; a sister-in-law, Frances “Corky” Fulton of Centerville; a niece, JoAnn Chelton who grew up with Greg; as well as, numerous additional aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two sons, Ty Gregory Lohr who died in infancy on May 19, 1993, Nathan M. Bloom who died on Nov. 18, 2001, and a brother-in-law, Donald Fulton. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the First United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ron Hipwell, pastor of the church officiating. Interment will be in St. Catharine’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Titusville Airport Authority 2572 Meadville Rd., Titusville, PA 16354 or to the charity of one’s choice.
