Obituary of Venion D. Firster

Venion Delorna “Dee” Firster, 84, of N. Main St. Ext., Titusville passed away on Sunday morning, June 20, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.

Venion was born on September 19, 1936 in Oil City to the late Clifford Sr. and Annabelle (Coburn) Firster. She married Robert E. Firster on July 6, 1953 in Oil City. Mr. Firster preceded her in death on November 29, 2012.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family, canning, baking, gardening, and watching old western movies (black and white).

Venion is survived by her children, Cindy Gilson of Hydetown, Robert E. Firster, Jr. of Titusville, Crystal Wagner of Titusville, Michael Firster and wife Cathy of Titusville, Timothy Firster of Pleasantville, Carol Fry and husband John of Pleasantville; her grandson whom she raised, Wayne Firster and wife Jessie-Lynn of Pleasantville; 10 additional grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Clifford “Sonny” Sibble Jr., Howard Sibble; and 2 sisters, Shirley Pratt and Judith Sibble Graham.
