Obituary of Nellie E. Miller
Nellie E. Miller, 82, of Tidioute Enterprise Rd., Tidioute passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Nellie was born on August 15, 1938 in Tionesta to the late Glenn and Helen (Nason) Hunter. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Morrison in 1969.
She was a graduate of Tidioute High School in 1956.
Nellie was previously employed by GTE Sylvania in Pleasantville, the Rouse Estate in Youngsville and for several families in the Tidoute area.
She was a member of the Tidoute Baptist Church and Tidoute VFW #8803 ladies aux.
Nellie loved being surrounded by her family especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking her dog Tippy for walks.
Nellie is survived by her daughters, Kim Greeley and husband James, Kathy Jo Morrison both of Tidioute; 4 grandchildren, Keith Greeley and wife Kelly, Kris Greeley and wife Nicole, Jamie Anderson and husband Mike, Rick Greeley and wife Carly; 12 great-grandchildren, Brodie, Wyatt, Krista and husband Charles, Cody, Hunter and girlfriend Raven, Landon, Carter, Elliott, Harper, Nolan, Hayden, Blakely; 3 great great-grandchildren, Kamden, Serenity, Charles; a sister, Arletta Marsh of Tidioute; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sara-Elizabeth; and a brother, George Hunter; and a son-in-law, Kenneth E. Peterson.
A memorial service will be conducted for family and friends on Friday, July 23rd at 11:00 A.M. at the Tidioute Baptist Church 218 Main St.
