Stu Paul was one of my heroes. In the early 1970s Stu taught Mechanical Drawing at THS. In those days girls were not permitted to take that class. We were required to take Home Economics instead. I desperately wanted to take the class, but was refused. Stu came to my defense and managed to convince them to permit me admission to the class. Of everything I learned in high school, what I learned in that class has been something I have used for more than 50 years on a weekly basis. Stu was a wonderful, intelligent man with a great sense of humor. His absence will be sorely felt by all who knew him. I am so very sorry for your loss.
