Obituary of Ernest V. Kreckel, Sr.

Ernest V. Kreckel, Sr., 67, formerly of Warren passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at his home in Erie.

Ernest was born on April 22, 1954, in Johnsonburg to the late Ernest R. and Maude P. (Fell) Kreckel.

He was a graduate of Warren Are High School in 1972.

Ernest was formerly employed in the maintenance department for 25 years at Inter Royal Deluxe in Warren.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping. He also loved taking care of lawns and fixing mowers.

Ernest is survived by a son, Ernest  V. “Ernie” Kreckel, Jr of Warren; 2 grandchildren, Trenten and Trinity Kreckel both of Warren; a brother, Kevin Kreckel and wife Shelly of Youngsville; a sister, Edie Hanes and husband Mike of St. Marys; 2 sisters-in-law, Debra Kreckel of Titusville, Ann Kreckel of Johnsonburg; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert Kreckel and Bill Kreckel.
