Obituary of Joseph H. Ruot
Mr. Joseph H. Ruot, 90, of Pleasantville died at 1:15 AM on Thursday, June 03, 2010, at his residence with his loving family beside him.
Mr. Ruot was born on September 10, 1919, in Titusville. He was the son of the late Henry and Anna Rout. He married Ruth E. Clark on September 10, 1943, who survives.
He was a machinist all his life and worked at the Forge Works, Iron Works, and retired from Keystone Honing in 1984. After retirement he was actively involved in helping his son start Charter Plastics in Titusville.
Mr. Ruot was an avid outdoors man and loved hunting, fishing and cutting wood.
He loved to watch the deer as they would arrive daily in his fields.
Mr. Ruot loved his family of five children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is survived by: Linda Peterson of Titusville, Terry Ruot and his wife Charlene of Titusville, Donna Fyock of Titusville, Judy Saragian of Titusville and Becky Carpenter and her husband Karl of Alberton, Montana; one sister, Rita Homer of Titusville; one sister-in-law, Lillian Ruot of Titusville and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph P. Ruot; two brothers, Francis Henry Ruot and Charles Henry Ruot.
No calling hours will be observed. A private family service will be conducted with Rev. Karl Carpenter his son-in-law, officiating.
Interment will be in Jerusalem Corners Cemetery in Pleasantville.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home.
