Obituary of Truman Dallas Bean
Truman Dallas Bean, 76, of Centerville, passed away Saturday morning February 5, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie.
Dallas was born on October 5, 1945 at Endeavor, PA, a son of the late Clemmer and Ruth Fiscus Bean.
He had been employed as a truck driver most of his working career having retired from Hasbrouck Sand and Gravel. He was employed as an iron worker in Erie in his earlier years.
Dallas enjoyed tending to his fish in his pond and riding his side by side. He was a good mechanic and enjoyed working on vehicles.
He is survived by three children, David Bean and wife Penny of Sugar Grove, Melanie Jacoby and husband Larry of Kerrville, TX, and Adam Bean of Warren; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Bruce Bean and wife Toni, and Jeff Bean, all of Spring Creek, John Bean and wife Nancy, Doyle Bean and wife Sheila, and Dayle Bean, all of Pittsfield; sisters, Janet Barnes of Youngsville, Debbie Savitz and husband Vic of Pittsfield, and Pamela Kennedy and husband Dan of Grand Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dallas was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and Paul Bean; and three sisters, Jacqueline Carlson, Clarice Conklin and Denna Gern.
No public calling hours will be observed. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
