Obituary of Edward A Decker
Edward A. Decker, 71, of Titusville, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Titusville Area Hospital.
Ed was born on March 4, 1951 in Canton, OH, a son of the late Howard and Lenora Kope Decker.
Ed was a veteran having served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
Ed had worked in the construction industry most of his working career.
He was a former member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Moose Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching, fishing, riding his trike and woodworking.
Ed is survived by three children, Edward Decker, Jr. and wife Heather of Elk Creek, MO, Matthew Decker and wife Tonja of Titusville, and Angela Decker of Titusville; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a brother, Jim Decker of Titusville; five sisters, Sue Bowles, Joyce Ralston and husband Floyd, and Amy Van Cise, all of Titusville, Marjorie Decker of Indiana, and Patty McDaniel and husband Steve of Derry, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Daniel and Howard Decker; and a sister, Dolly Reynolds.
Family and friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with full military rites being observed.
Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
