Condolences
To Rex's children & family, sending my deepest sympathy in the passing of your father. Your Mother, Gayle & I are 1st cousins (Webster) Love & prayers for you all. Mary (Webster) Wood=Anderson.
Dear family of Rex Baker
I just wanted to take time to express our sympathy at the "Home-going" of your father, husband and grandfather. We raised our families together at the Diamond Church and we would have memories to share. He was involved in every aspect of the church activities...helping with VBS each summer, singing in the choir, assisting in the Church picnic and serving breakfast after the Easter sunrise service.
Just two months ago, Rex was helping to serve a meal after my Aunt's funeral I thanked Rex for always being such a good neighbor to my aunt and uncle...taking mail up the drive way to their house, and helping to keep their driveway plowed. Rex's response was just what any one who knew him would expect. With a smile on his face he said, "Others have helped us and now it's our turn to help others!"
As our conversation continued Rex filled me in on the lives of his children and grandchildren! He certainly sounded proud of each of them!
Again, let me extend our sympathy, especially! to Matt, Justin and Tracy! Remember what you know and have been taught...He is gone from this world and has entered eternity! We will see him again! Love and prayers, Karl and Carla Womer
To Cecelia and Rex's children and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Rex's passing. My Deepest Sympathy to all. So very sorry, Cecelia. Betty Webster Hovis (Cousin of Gayle Webster and customer of Fun Bank)
Celia and Family, We didn’t personally know Rex, but I know how much you loved each other, that he was a super man, and he made you very happy. We are so sorry for your loss. We pray for comfort and peace during this difficult times for you all.
I started work for Pepsi in 1997 when Rex was a relief salesman. I was always relived when Rex was selling for me. He was always a genuinely nice guy who did a great job. He was a man of God who didn’t judge others lifestyles. I always enjoyed talking to Rex when I would see him, and he made more than one appearance at Pepsi following his retirement. My condolences to the entire Baker family and to all his friends.
