Betty was one of my mentor for the Warren Co. 4-H Horse program during my career as a Penn State Extension Educator. She truly believe in making hard work and learning fun as she lead 100's of children through 4-H. She saw horse show competition as a means to 'Make the Best Better". Fun field trips and meeting were learning time. She encourage leadership and organizational skills in the youth, and good social activities that led them through their lives. She was a friend to many families and will not be forgotten.
