Obituary of Janice Marie Dinger

Mrs. Janice Marie Dinger, 51, of 310 Bank St., Titusville passed away early Tuesday morning November 8, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Dinger was born on November 24, 1959, in Port Allegany to the late Stanley and Marie Leapal Dow. Janice was a graduate of Eisenhower High School, class of 1978. She was formerly employed by Cross Creek Resort. Janice loved being with her family and taking care of her pets. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in the sun, going to the beach, swimming, boating, and jet skiing. She was a thinker and believed in God. She is survived by her husband Ronald “Ron” Dinger of Titusville whom she married on June 5, 2005; three children, Jason McAleer, Brandon “Bubba” McAleer and Jacklyn Bower all of Titusville; two sisters, Sharon Schreckengost-Harvey and husband Eddie of Titusville, Diane Michelitsch and husband Joe of Port Allegany; three nieces, Jennifer Williams and husband Buddy of Pocasset, OK, Mara Marin and husband Steve, Stationed in Germany, Danielle Michelitsch and husband James of San Francisco, CA; two nephews, Clint Schreckengost of New York City and Mark Michelitsch of Port Allegany; great niece, Brianna Downey of Pocasset, OK; two great nephews, Ryan and DJ Michelitsch of Port Allegany; father-in-law, Mel Dinger of Titusville; three brothers-in-law, Tim Dinger of Titusville, Ken Dinger of Atlanta, GA, Dan Dinger of Vista, CA; and a special friend, Julia Childs of Titusville. Janice was preceded in death by a daughter, Katie Bower who died in infancy. A memorial service will be conducted by the family for family and friends on Friday at 1:00 PM from the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, PA 16354. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
