Obituary of Timothy William Vroman
Timothy William “Tim” Vroman, 53, of 217 East Central Ave. Titusville, passed away Wednesday morning March 7, 2012 at the Golden Living Center of Titusville after an extended illness.
He was born December 3, 1958 in Titusville, a son of Ethel M. “Sue” Vroman and the late Robert L. “Rusty” Vroman.
Tim was a gentle soul and will always be remembered for his kind heart and willingness to always help a friend. He loved his family and friends, The Lord, Bible study and his church as well as cooking, vegetable gardening, music, and “Tike” the family Jack Russell. Most amusing, was his comical knack for “nick-naming” family members (Tin Pot, Dozer, and Spud..to name a few), you know who you are! We will miss our family “fix-it” guy who could always be counted on for another “miraculous repair” with a minimal budget.
Tim is survived by his mother, Ethel “Sue” Vroman of Titusville; his fiancée, Blanche Sterling of Titusville; a brother, Robert “BJ” Vroman of Titusville; sisters, Susan Ruot and husband Randy, Carol Pipher, Patricia “Trish” Anthony and husband Phil, and Connie Ackerman and husband Dan, all of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Wayne “Rusty” Vroman and Patrick Allen Vroman.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 9th at 6:30 PM at the Lighthouse Christian Center 111 W. Spring Street Titusville with Bishop David M. Wells presiding. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
Following cremation, private interment will take place at a later date at the Vroman Excelsior Cemetery located on Spring Creek Road.
Memorial contributions can be made to Southern Care Hospice of Meadville and the Lighthouse Christian Center in Titusville.
