Obituary of Merse Jay Process
Mr. Merse Jay Process, 60, of 17207 State Hwy 8, Centerville died unexpectedly at 12:16 PM on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Titusville Area Hospital.
Mr. Process was born on Feb. 13, 1952 in Titusville to Evelyn Orovic Process and the late Merse J. Process. He married Janet Panas on September 27, 1980, at the Centerville Baptist Church.
He was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1970 and Cornell University with a degree in electrical and mechanical engineering.
Jay had been employed as a project engineer for 15 years at Charter Plastics and was a former teacher at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville where he taught electronics and calculus.
He was a member of the Centerville Lions Club.
Jay enjoyed working on computers, restoring electronic games, woodworking all of which are just a few of his hobbies.
He is survived by his wife Janet Process of Centerville; his mother Evelyn Process of Centerville; two sons, John Process and wife Vanessa of Burlington, Mass., James Process and girlfriend Jackie of Johnston, RI; two brothers, Bruce Process and Daniel Process and wife Helen of Centerville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call today (Monday) at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gary Kinnear, officiating.
Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Centerville.
