Obituary of Thelma E. Acel

Mrs. Thelma E. Acel, 80, of 60 N. Dillon Dr., Titusville died at 4:40 AM on Monday, June 21, 2010 at the Golden LivingCenter. Mrs. Acel was born on August 7, 1929 in Titusville to the late Bert and Ethelyn Green Clark. She married Russell A. Acel on August 15, 1953 in Titusville. Mr. Acel died on September 28, 2004. She was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1947. Mrs. Acel was formerly employed as a nurse’s aide with Beverly Enterprises and Sunset Manor. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Mrs. Acel is survived by one sister, Ruth Ruot of Pleasantville; and the following nieces and nephews, Jim Clark, John Clark, Jeff Clark, Joe Clark, Chris Clark, Larry Clark, Bobby Clark, Terry Ruot, Mark Harvey Jr., Barbara Brown, Lana Sterling, Marlene Bedow, Brenda Peters, Judy Saragian, Donna Fyock, Linda Peterson, Rebecca Caprenter, Marie Nosker, Ann Mangel, Bonnie Walbourn & Carol Ebert; A close friend Shannon Lee Cole of Temple Terrace, FL who was like a daughter to Thelma. She was preceded in death by four brothers, James Clark, Merl Clark, Robert Clark, & Harold “Whitey” Clark; and three sisters, Helen Niedbala, Vivian Deemer and Beatrice Vereen. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark Rusnak, Chaplain for Asera Care Hospice, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
