Obituary of Kimberly K. Kolobitz

Mrs. Kimberly K. Kolobitz, 48, of 216 Harriot Ave., Oil City and formerly of 1086 Fairview Rd., Titusville died at 9:40 PM on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the Golden LivingCenter in Titusville following a lengthy battle with various illnesses. Mrs. Kolobitz was born on June 30, 1961 in Warren to the late Harold and Ida Jean Strain Mealy. She attended school in Conneautville and Titusville. Mrs. Kolobitz was formerly employed as a cook at the Grand Slam Café and the Golden LivingCenter in Titusville. She enjoyed reading, cooking, playing the piano, crocheting, and working in her vegetable garden. She also loved her animals. Mrs. Kolobitz is survived by her husband Mark Kolobitz of Titusville; one daughter, Misty Wagner and husband Robert of Titusville; two sisters, Betty Jane Maier and Mary Ann Smith and husband Robert both of Titusville; two nephews, Kesley and Jason Cottrell; a close friend, Theresa Nason of Erie; and numerous additional nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Veronica Kolobitz who was still born; one brother, William Mealy and three other siblings who died in infancy. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be conducted at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home for family and friends on Wednesday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mark Rusnak, Chaplain of the Asera Care Hospice in Erie, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Active Aging Chapter or to the charity of one’s choice. FLOWERS
