Obituary of Margaret H. Foote

Mrs. Margaret H. Foote, 90, formerly of Central Towers died at 8:36 PM on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Golden LivingCenter in Titusville. Mrs. Foote was born on October 2, 1921 in Titusville to the late Frank and Waive See Snyder. She married Edward C. Foote on January 13, 1942 in Titusville. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2006. She attended Titusville area schools. Mrs. Foote was formerly employed in the housekeeping department for 16 years at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville. She attended the Breedtown Baptist Church. Mrs. Foote enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting, dancing and playing cards. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Hoepfl and her husband Thomas of Titusville; two granddaughters, Kelly Cairns of Titusville and Sherry Speer of Titusville; five great grandchildren, Austin and Thomas Cairns, Tyler Richard, Dillon Speer, and Sydney McIntrye; one great great-grandson, Wesley Richard; four brothers, Frank Snyder of Titusville, Paul Snyder and wife Shirley of Pleasantville, Rulin “Jeffrey” Snyder and wife Pauline of Titusville, Stanley “John” Snyder and wife Erma of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Foote was preceded in death by three brothers, Maryott Snyder, Edward Snyder and Merle Snyder; and four sisters, Helen Smith, Shirley Kabasinski, Josephine Bedow and Mary Hicks. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM with the service to follow conducted by Pastor Gary Kinnear. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
