Obituary of Marjorie A. Peyton

Mrs. Marjorie A. Peyton, 84, of 617 W. Elm St. Titusville, formerly of Pleasantville, died Friday, September 7, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Peyton was born on April 22, 1928 in Washington, PA to the late William B. and Viola L. Lemon Marshman. She was previously married to William Ritchea and Louis Peyton. She was a graduate of Washington High School, class of 1946. Mrs. Peyton was formerly employed as a meter maid in Claysville for 4 years and regional manager for Tri-Chem Liquid Embroidery for 25 years. She was a member of the Titusville First Baptist Church, the Pleasantville Senior Citizens, and a former member of the Titusville Business and Professional Women. Mrs. Peyton enjoyed reading and water color painting. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Stout and husband Raymond of Louisville, KY, Bonnie Curry and husband Sherman of Pittsfield; one son, Dale Ritchea and wife Jackie of Valley Grove, WV; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and a close friend, Bobby Collins of Titusville. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM. Further visitation will be held at Washington Cemetery Chapel in Washington, PA on Wednesday from 11:30 AM until noon at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Brian Borger, pastor of the Titusville First Baptist Church, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church 216 N.
