Obituary of Dwayne G. Baldwin
Dwayne G. “Dewey” Baldwin, 53, of 18621 Taylor Stand Rd. Centerville, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie following an accident.
Dewey was born on March 16, 1957 at Charleston, WV, a son of the late Clyde and Lois McCauley Baldwin. He was married to Debbie Felster on June 6, 2009 at their residence.
Dewey was a graduate of the Titusville High School, class of 1975. He had been employed as a truck driver at Klapec Trucking Company in Reno.
Dewey was a member of the International Order of Foresters (IOF). He enjoyed golfing, playing pool, hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, spending time with his family and friends, and riding his ’85 Honda Goldwing. He also enjoyed helping his Amish friends.
Dewey is survived by his wife of Centerville; two children, Heather Hardway of Ontario, Canada and Tracy Felster of New Brighton, PA; five grandchildren, Boyd Mott III, Fynn Mott, Mykenna Scurry, Emily and Tyler Hardway; three brothers, Clyde O. Baldwin, Jr. and his wife Joan of Centerville, Ronald Baldwin and his fiancée Terri, and Skip Baldwin and his wife Kathryn, all of Titusville; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Baldwin.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville today (Monday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Further visitation will be held on Tuesday from noon to 2:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Pastor Ronald Frazier of the Olean, NY Revival Center, officiating.
