Obituary of Victoria M. Fischer

Victoria M. Fischer, 77, a resident of the Crawford County Care Center since September of 2009, died Wednesday morning November 14, 2012. Victoria was born on October 8, 1935 at Franklin, PA, a daughter of the late Victor and Helen Collingwood. She was married to Norman E. Lasher who preceded her in death. Victoria had owned the Abode Bar and Restaurant in Conneaut Lake for 10 years. She had also been employed as an accounting clerk at Snap-Tite in Union City, Bolinger and Johns in Pleasantville, and Spaldings in Meadville. She had formerly attended St. Titus Church. She was a member of The Foresters. She enjoyed bowling, making crafts, bingo, and listening to country and bluegrass music. She is survived by the following children; Darren Fischer of Denver, CO, Julia Frazzini and husband John of Titusville, and Rudy Lasher and wife Lauren of New York City; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Ruddell; three sons, James, Richard, and Michale Fischer; and a grandson, Jeremy Frazzini. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Sunday from 6 to 8 PM and on Monday from 10 to 11 AM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Pastor Barry L. Weyant of the Centerville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Centerville. The family asks that memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice. FLOWERS
