Obituary of Violet M. Born

Mrs. Violet May Baker Born, 83, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Pleasantville, Pennsylvania, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. She was married in the Pleasantville EUB Church on September 12, 1944, to the former John W. Born, who preceded her in death July 4, 2011. Violet was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Handy Baker. She is survived by her sister, Faith Francis and two daughters, Heather Gillott and husband Greg, and Laurel Pinson and husband Dave; grandchildren, Abbey, Erin, and Meg Gillott, and Claire and Will Pinson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Garwood Baker and a sister, Mildred Baker Watson. Friends may attend the memorial service at the Pleasantville Independent Baptist Church on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Richard LaRocque, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Neiltown Cemetery. The Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America in Violet Born’s name. FLOWERS
