Obituary of Maxine E. Jameson

Maxine E. Jameson, 86, formerly of 101 Overlook Dr. Titusville, passed away Thursday evening February 14, 2013 at Southwoods Assisted Living Community where she had been a resident for several years. Maxine was born on February 4, 1927 in Titusville, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Katherine Tracy Baker. She was married to Richard H. Jameson on August 14, 1948 in Titusville. Maxine was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 1944. She was employed at the Trust Office at the former PennBank in Titusville from where she retired. She had also been employed by Representative Jay Haskell for several years. Maxine was a member of St. James Memorial Episcopal Church. She was a member of the Women’s Bridge Club and Women’s Service League. She was a member of the former Titusville Country Club and Ladies Golf League. She enjoyed traveling, golfing, playing bridge, reading and gardening. Maxine is survived by her husband of Titusville; a daughter, Christine Tucker and husband Darren of Titusville; three grandchildren, Phillip Pavlecaa and wife Diana of Leesburg, VA, Andrew Stiffler of Titusville, and Nicole Perkins and husband Christopher of Titusville; a sister, Shirley Schweitzer and husband Clair of Richmond, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son Richard. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 5 PM and attend the funeral service on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. James Memorial Episcopal Church with Rev. Canon Martha Ishman as celebrant. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family asks that memorials be made to St. James Memorial Episcopal Church 112 E. Main St. Titusville, PA 16354.
