Obituary of Amanda S. Troyer

Mrs. Amanda S. Troyer, 78, of 45458 Mageetown Rd., Centerville died at 10:45 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Troyer was born on Nov. 21, 1930 in Middlefield, OH to the late John L. and Magdalina Stutzman Shetler. She married Manas A. Troyer on May 27, 1948. Mr. Troyer preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1997. She is survived by three sons, Roy Troyer and wife Betty of Centerville, David Troyer and wife Christine of Home, PA, Luke Troyer and wife Tina of Clymer, NY; five daughters, Susan Guy of Garrettsville, OH, Cindy Miller and husband Joe of W. Farmington, OH, Barbara Byler and husband Owen of Centerville, Judy Byler and husband Jonas Jr. of Spartansburg, Mary Lee and husband Lester of Centerville; 42 grandchildren, 91 great grandchildren, three brothers, and one great aunt. Mrs. Troyer was preceded in death by one grandson and two great grandchildren. Friends may call at the home today (Thursday) from 2 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted from the home on Friday at 10:30 AM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home.
