Obituary of Evelyn O. Charlotte Process

Mrs. Evelyn O. Charlotte Process, 90, of 18925 Erie St., Centerville died at 8:33 AM on Friday, September 20, 2013, while in route to the Titusville Area Hospital. Mrs. Process was born on June 10, 1923, in Summerdale, NY to the late Andrew and Martha Newberg Orovic. She married Merse J. Process on August 4, 1951 in Centerville. Mr. Process preceded her in death on October 28, 2006. She was a graduate of Sherman High School in New York, class of 1940, at the age of 16. Mrs. Process was formerly employed in the offices’ for the Aero Supply Company in Corry and Struthers Wells Corporation in Titusville. In June of 1952 she and her husband opened Merse J. Process Farm Supply in Centerville. She was a member of the Centerville Baptist Church, the Centerville Women’s Club and a past member of the Union City Eastern Star. Mrs. Process was a devoted mother and wife who enjoyed cooking, quilting, crossword puzzles, working in her rose garden, reading especially her Bible, traveling the world with Merse, and a good party. She was also a musician who loved to the play the piano and organ. She is survived by two sons, Bruce Process, Daniel Process and wife Helen of Centerville; two grandsons, M. John Process and wife Vanessa, James Process and fiancé Jackie Generotti of Burlington, MA; daughter-in-law, Janet Process of Centerville; a sister, Judy Skiff and husband Allen of Sierra Madre, CA; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Process was preceded in death by a son, M. Jay Process; and two brothers, Ellsworth and Kenneth Orovic. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the Centerville Baptist Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with retired Baptist minister Pastor Gary Kinnear, officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
