Obituary of James A. Jolly
Mr. James A. Jolly, 75, of 125 Pump Station Rd., Titusville died at 9:29 AM on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at his residence.
Mr. Jolly was born on August 5, 1938 in Titusville to the late Samuel A. and Mamie Stover Jolly.
He attended Titusville area schools and served two years in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Jolly was previously employed by Cubbon Lumber and later with Keystone Honing as a machinist for 10 years until his retirement.
He was a member of the Oakland Vol. Fire Department and the Venango County Fire Police.
Mr. Jolly is survived by a son, James A. Jolly, Jr. of Titusville; his former wife, Gertrude Kellogg Jolly of Titusville; two brothers, Stanley Jolly and Lawrence Jolly both of Titusville; a sister, Sarah Bish and husband Lewis of Mayport; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Jolly.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM with the funeral service to follow conducted by Rev. William Hopkins, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene in Oil City, officiating.
