He lived a happy, prosperous, and full life and above all else, his love for his wife and family was the joy of his life. His beloved wife, Jean V. Beason, passed in May, 2013. They started dating in 1938 and married in 1941 and bought their first house in 1950 in Pleasantville and started their family. In 1954 they moved to W. Bloss Street in Titusville. Tom worked with his father in the oil industry before becoming a steamfitter, and later, a journeyman pipefitter where he worked on construction sites throughout the northeast and Canada with his brothers. In early 1960 he was hired full-time at Cyclops Steel in Titusville where he retired in the mid-1980s. In 1962 he and Jean purchased the G & H Shop in Titusville, and in 1985 they sold the store and fully retired. During their lives they traveled the United States on their motorcycle and RV and on cruises and visited their children. They spent winters in McAllen, Texas for many happy years. Tom loved music, had a beautiful singing voice, and was an active member and elder in the Titusville Presbyterian Church. In addition to their family, he and Jean greatly enjoyed their many friends throughout their lives. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N.
