Obituary of Cornelius J. Enright
Mr. Cornelius J. “Con” Enright, Jr., 93, formerly of 227 Water St., Titusville passed away at 8:12 PM, Monday, October 28, 2013, at the Golden LivingCenter in Oil City.
Mr. Enright was born on August 8, 1920, in Titusville to the late Cornelius J. and Emilie Krah Enright, Sr. He married Carrie Langworthy on February 12, 1954 at the Bethel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Enright preceded him in death on September 7, 2013.
He was a graduate of Warren High School class of 1939.
Mr. Enright was formerly employed as an inspector for 26 years at Struthers Wells Corp. He then went to work for Ebasco Services in New York City as a nuclear inspector for 5 years. He spent 4 years working at Three Mile Island as an inspector and finished working in the area at Grand Valley Manufacturing and retired from Drafto in Cochranton.
Con was a former member of the Titusville Moose Club, Eagles Club, and Elks Club. He was a current member of AARP.
He enjoyed bowling, being outdoors, hunting and fishing, but especially spending time with his family and being surrounded by his grandchildren.
Mr. Enright is survived by six children, Carol Patterson of Titusville, Kathleen Hubbard of Meadville, Ron Enright and wife Sue of Titusville, Patsy Kosinski and husband Thomas of Lakewood, NY, Dan Enright and wife Renee of Friendly, WVA, Elsie Huser of Pleasantville; 19 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, and son-in-law, Richard Hubbard.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 23rd at the Church of the Nazarene 213 E. Bloss St. Titusville. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM at the church with Pastor Gary Kinnear, retired Baptist minister, officiating.
