Obituary of Warren F. Preston
Warren F. Preston, 77, formerly of Centerville, died Thursday morning, December 26, 2013 at Wesbury United Methodist Community of natural causes.
He was born on September 18, 1936 in Centerville to the late Lloyd and Adelaide Jones Preston.
Warren worked as a logger and welder. He enjoyed running his swamp buggy around and giving out pictures of his bees.
He was a member of the Meadville First Assembly of God.
Warren is survived by a son, David E. Preston and wife Callie of Grand Junction, Colorado; two daughters, Fay M. Whitfield and husband William of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Karen A. Parker and husband David of Centerville; three brothers, Jack Preston and wife Kate of Centerville, Scott Preston and wife Lila of Titusville, Don Preston and wife Pat of Townville; two sisters, Joy Hanley and husband William of Centerville and Jill Bradley and husband Cecil of Chester, WV; six grandchildren, Adrianne Langford and husband Curtis, Barbara Whitfield, Kaili Hinkson, Sara Hinkson, Megan Preston, and Molly Preston; three great-grandchildren, Imani, Layla, Jaylon Langford; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private committal service will be held today (Friday) at Sunnyside Cemetery.
Friends and family may attend a Memorial Service at The First Assembly of God, 719 Washington Street, Meadville, on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Philip Torre officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, Inc., 303 N. Washington Street, Titusville.
