Obituary of Fannie A. Miller

Mrs. Fannie A. Miller, 86, formerly of Titusville and a resident of Oakwood Heights (Presbyterian Home) in Oil City, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014, at the UPMC Northwest in Seneca. Mrs. Miller was born on April 11, 1928 in Sugarcreek to the late Arrin and Mildred Reisinger Krepp. She was married to Richard W. “Red” Miller who preceded her in death on March 4, 1982. She was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School. Fannie was previously employed by Thompson’s Drug Store where she was a clerk and worked the lunch counter. She was last employed at the Titusville News Stand. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW Ladies Auxiliary and former member of several local clubs and organizations. Fannie enjoyed cooking, relaxing in the sun, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by a son, Richard W. Miller, Jr and wife Bev of Titusville; two daughters, Donna Wishnok and husband Joe of Burgettstown, Kim Paluh and husband Mike of Tionesta; a daughter-in-law, Martha Miller of Titusville; 8 grandchildren, Wes, Jennifer, Mandy, Justin, Samantha, Rachel, and Ethan, and Shawn Rodgers; 6 great grandchildren, Ayden, Henry, Kalligh, Keegan, Chelsea and Lynn; a brother and sister also survive. Fannie was preceded in death by a son, Randy Miller; and several brothers and sisters. No calling hours will be observed. Private services are being held by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW Ladies Auxiliary 206 St. John St., Titusville, PA 16354.
