Obituary of Margaret J. Kline
Mrs. Margaret J. Kline, 79, passed away at 9:05 AM on Monday, June 09, 2014, at the Golden LivingCenter in Oil City. She had been a resident there for the past year.
Mrs. Kline was born on May 18, 1935 at Decker’s Run (Cochranton) to the late Raymond and Roxy Stearns Rhoades. She married Herbert A. Kline on August 15, 1953. Mr. Kline preceded her in death on December 31, 1981.
She attended school in Decker’s Run.
Mrs. Kline was formerly employed by the Titusville YMCA, Presbyterian Home, Queen Cutlery and last worked as a cook at the Rustic Inn in Hydetown.
She was a member of the Titusville Moose Family Center #84. She also enjoyed making crafts and collecting nick-knacks, but especially loved being surrounded by her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Kline is survived by 4 children, Ronald L. Kline of St. Augustine, FL, Raymond M. Kline and wife Traci of Titusville, Richard C. “Rick” Kline and wife Diane of Pleasantville, Bonnie S. McClelland and husband Ken of Grand Valley; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 6 sisters, Ruth Richards of Cochranton, Ruby Reed and husband Warren of Sandy Lake, Marion Runyan of Cochranton, Shirley Rhoades of Meadville, Martha Kline of Titusville, Florence Rhoades of Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey A. Kline who died in infancy in 1969; 3 brothers, Ralph, Russell and Clifford Rhoades; and 3 sisters, Freda Mattocks, Helen Nemeth, and Janet Rhoades.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville today (Wednesday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark Rusnak, chaplain for Asera Care Hospice in Erie, officiating.
Interment will be in Jamison Corners Cemetery.
