Obituary of Peggy Ann Wright

Mrs. Peggy Ann Wright, 83, of Titusville, passed away at 8:36 PM, on August 5, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. Mrs. Wright was born on March 6, 1931 in Templeton, PA to the late James Walter and Florence Belle Spangler Clever. She graduated from Kittaning High School in 1949. Peggy married Mr. James J. Wright on August 29, 1953, he preceded her in death on June 14, 1994. Peggy worked at Brookville Sylvania from 1949 to 1957, G.C. Murphys in Brookville and Titusville, Brookville Glove Factory, and then retired from Beverly Healthcare after working there from 1982 to 2004. She was an attendee of St. Walburga Church and a member of the Titusville Lioness Club for many years. She continued to volunteer at the Golden Living Center after her retirement and enjoyed crochet, knitting, gardening, cooking, baking, spending time with her grandchildren, visiting the Senior Center, and playing cards in her card club. Peggy is survived by her two daughters, Teri Ann Stubler and husband Bob of Oil City, and Toni Lynn Kline and husband Ed of Titusville; four grandchildren, Katy Lingler and husband Nicholas of Franklin, Andy Stubler of Pittsburgh, Courtney Kline of Clearfield, and Alex Kline of Titusville; three sisters, Patricia Simpson, Helen Master, and Carol Delacour; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband,Peggy is preceded in death by her brother Donald Clever and two sisters, Saramelda Lopez and Betty Ann Rupp. Private funeral services are being conducted at the Hennes - Garrett Funeral Home, 203 E. Main St., Titusville, PA 16354, for the family. Interment will be at St. Catharines Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Walburga Church, 528 W Main St, Titusville, PA 16354, and to Operation Smile, 3641 Faculty Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23453.
