Obituary of Viola M. Fenstermaker
Viola May Fenstermaker, 80, formerly of Titusville, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 at her residence in Saegertown.
Viola was born on April 25, 1934 at Titusville, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Bernice Stoltz Wright. She was married to Harry R. Fenstermaker on April 4, 1953 at Cherrytree. He preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 1984.
Viola was a graduate of Colestock High School. She had been employed at Ruel Smiths in Pleasantville, Burger King, the former Buyers Fair and the former Ralph Cohens Clothing Store, all in Titusville.
She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in both Titusville and Saegertown. She worked for the American Legion in Titusville and Cambridge Springs. Viola volunteered at the bingo tent at the Crawford County Fair.
Viola is survived by two daughters, Waunita Fenstermaker and Deloris Fenstermaker, both of Titusville; five grandchildren, Angel Urey, Tommy and Eric Fenstermaker, Richie and Joshua Elslager; four great grandchildren, Carly Jordan Fenstermaker, Rowdy Richie Elslager, Destiny Sky and Levi; a sister, Carol Blymiller of Saegertown; two brothers, Axel Wright and wife Kathryn of Ohio and Alfred Wright and wife Mary Ann of Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by and infant brother Kenneth Wright and three brothers, Frank, Darwin and Edward Wright.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Saturday, September 6, from 10-11 AM, at which time the service will be conducted with Rev. Dr. Randolph G. Babcock officiating.
Interment will be in Kerr Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home.
