Obituary of John P. Vroman
John P. Vroman, 53, of 112 Turkey Farm Road Titusville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning October 2, 2014 at the Titusville Area Hospital.
John was born on June 18, 1961 to John M. Vroman and the late Mary Jayne Manross Vroman. He was married to Rebecca “Bec” Lewis.
John was a graduate of the Titusville High School, class of 1980 and had also attended the Kerr Skill Center in Titusville.
John was employed as a brake operator at Great Lakes Manufacturing in Corry for the past seven years. He had previously been employed at Universal Stainless, Homerwood, Queen Cutlery, and also as a security guard at the University of Pittsburgh in Titusville.
John was an avid Steeler, Pirates, and Penguins fan. He enjoyed fly fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of Titusville; his father of Titusville; four sons, John L. Vroman, Nathan Vroman, Jerrin Vroman and Julian Vroman, all of Titusville; two daughters, Jessica Oakes and husband Jason, and Teanna Vroman, all of Titusville; two grandchildren, Jason Oakes and Breanna Vroman; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Linda Lewis of Titusville; three brothers, Ted Vroman, Brian Vroman, and Matt Vroman and his wife Theresa, all of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and attend the funeral service there on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Chris Kempa of the East Titusville Evangelical Wesleyan Church officiating.
Interment will be in Excelsior Corners Cemetery, Triumph Twp. Warren County.
