Obituary of Michael L. Wescoat

Michael L. Wescoat, 18, of 12 Pineville Rd. Grand Valley, died unexpectedly Sunday morning October 3, 2010 at his residence. Michael was born on December 16, 1991 in Titusville, a son of Randy and Tammi Fish Wescoat. He was a graduate of Titusville High School, class of 2010. He had formerly been employed at Charter Plastics, Mellon Landscaping in Tionesta, and most recently at Endeavor Lumber. Michael enjoyed biking, fishing, listening to his music, four wheeling, snowmobiling, and spotting deer. He had also served as a junior fireman with the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed spending time with his niece and nephew, and his pet dog “Banshee”. Michael is survived by his parents of Grand Valley; his paternal grandfather, Carl Wescoat of Grand Valley; his maternal grandparents, Doug and Pauline Howe, and his maternal great grandmother, Mildred Howe, all of Titusville; a sister, Nicole Mellon and her husband Josh of Tionesta, a brother, Nicholas Wescoat and his fiancée Jacqueline Paladino of Tionesta, and his twin sister, Michelle Wescoat at home and her friend Joe Repasky of Titusville; his niece, Mackenzie Mellon; his nephew, Quinton Mellon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his close friends, Devon Beach, Devon Sudul, Bobby Woods, and Andy Luke. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Wilda Wescoat, and his maternal grandparents, Fred and Diane Fish. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Samuel Mabugu, pastor of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, officiating.
