Obituary of Cheryl Ann Magee

Cheryl Ann Magee, 48, of Centerville, found peace Sunday morning October 19, 2014 after struggling the past six years as a quadriplegic. Cheryl was born on November 30, 1965 in Union City, PA, a daughter of Elma Pattison Nunemaker McKean and the late Lester Nunemaker. She was married to David Magee who survives. Cheryl was a graduate of the Union City High School, class of 1984 and of the J. H. Thompson Business Academy. She had been employed with PennTraffic for 26 years working at various Quality Market locations until her disability. Cheryl was a totally unselfish, caring, generous, fun loving person with much strength and wisdom to the very end. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of Centerville; her mother and step-father, Elma Nunemaker McKean and Curtis McKean of Centerville; a son, Timothy Rose and wife Becky of Texas; a brother, Daryl Nunemaker and fiancée Penny Nutt of Corry; sisters, Deborah Lyons and husband Lynn, Valerie Owen and fiancée John Lewis, all of Union City, and Melody Crum and husband Bruce of Centerville; step-brothers, Rex Nunemaker and wife Dawnell of Townville, and Lester B. Nunemaker of Centerville; a step-sister, Elizabeth Hill and husband Charles of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kaylee Rose; her father-in-law, Bruce Weidner; her grandparents; and a special nephew Daryl Nunemaker. No public calling hours will be observed. A private memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Riceville Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Gordon B.
