Obituary of Betty M. Riley
Mrs. Betty M. Riley, 92, of Neilltown Rd., Pleasantville passed away at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 at her son’s home on Park Ave. in Titusville.
Mrs. Riley was born on May 6, 1922 in Parker to the late Charles Leasure and Martha Fulmer. She married Leslie H. Riley, Sr., on July 21, 1938. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1977.
Betty was a member of the Pleasantville Free Methodist Church where she also taught Sunday school.
She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading, baking and doing crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Riley is survived by 13 children, Leslie Riley and wife Bertie of Titusville, William Riley and wife Janet of Coatesville, Joan Presto and husband Larry of Neilltown, Ann Wimer and husband Ben of Meadville, Charles Riley and wife Joan of Sebastian, FL, David Riley and wife Shelvey of Pleasantville, Sue Downing and husband Rick of Oil City, Don Riley and wife Kathy of Oil City, Gail Coulter and husband Denny of Pleasantville, Beverly Confer and husband Rodney of Pleasantville, Barry Riley and wife Heather of Las Vegas, NV, Brad Riley and companion Becky of Las Vegas, NV, Becky Presto and husband Jeff of Pleasantville; 28 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Marilyn Riley of Centerville, son-in-law, Carl Wright of Neilltown; and a brother, Floyd Brothers and wife Norma of Columbus, PA.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean Wright; a son, Dale Riley; 2 grandsons, Mark Riley, Larry Presto, Jr.; a brother, Roy Brothers; and 2 sisters, Ethel Whiteman and Elma Seitz.
Friends may call at the Hennes-Garrett Funeral Home 203 E. Main St., Titusville on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charles Riel, pastor of the Pleasantville Free Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pleasantville.
