Obituary of Karen S. Hanlon
Karen S. Hanlon, 58, of Titusville, passed away Wednesday evening December 24, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Titusville following an extended illness.
Karen was born on January 28, 1956 in Titusville, a daughter of the late David and Irene Stokes Frost. She was married to Leo Hanlon in 1977. He preceded her in death on January 9, 1989.
Karen was a graduate of the Titusville High School.
She was a member of the Titusville PNA and Moose Club. She was a social member of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW and of the Cleo J. Ross Post 368 American Legion. She enjoyed sewing and drawing.
Karen is survived by her children, Marnie Roddy and husband Joseph of Titusville, Leo “Hoss” Hanlon and girlfriend Courtney of Neilltown, and Mandy Hanlon and boyfriend Shawn of Pleasantville; several grandchildren; her companion Joe Heeter of Titusville; three sisters, Patsy Hartzell of Oil City, Ruth Campbell and companion Jake of Centerville, and Denise Kinnear and companion Eleasha Adams of Titusville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Haas.
No public calling hours will be observed. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
