Obituary of Lynda J. Van Valkenberg

Mrs. Lynda J. Van Valkenberg, 49, of 13269 Windfall Rd., Titusville died at 10:11 AM on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie. Mrs. Van Valkenberg was born on June 17, 1960 at Titusville to Earl Van Valkenberg and the late Jeannette Showers Van Valkenberg. She attended Titusville High School. Mrs. Van Valkenberg enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cross word puzzles. She loved being with her family and organizing parties for them. She is survived by her father and step-mother, Earl and Carol Van Valkenberg of Ravenna, OH; fiancé, Daniel “Joe” Anthony of Titusville; four children, Stacey Walters and husband Brian of Pleasantville, Bobby Sosnowski of Springfield, VA, Ryan Sosnowski and Jessica Anthony of Titusville; one granddaughter, Brooke Walters; one brother, Robert Van Valkenberg and wife Heather of Titusville; one sister, Barbara Walters of Titusville; two half-sisters, Lori and Michelle and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Van Valkenberg was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne Proper. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home today (Friday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Saturday at 2:00 PM with Ralph Walters, officiating.
