Obituary of Dolores A. Nadolny

Dolores A. Nadolny, 85, passed away Wednesday evening February 11, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Titusville where she had been a resident for the past ten years. Dolores was born on October 2, 1929 in Titusville, a daughter of the late Floyd and Hazel Antill Jones. She was married to Regis C. “Dutch” Nadolny on Nov. 17, 1952 at St. Walburga Church. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2001. Dolores was a graduate of Colestock High School. She was a member of St. Walburga Church and a former member of the Titusville Lioness Club. She was one of the founders of a pinochle club which endured for over 50 years in Titusville. She enjoyed having coffee with her friends at the former Thompson’s Drug Store and especially spending time with her family. She is survived by four children, Rodney Nadolny and wife Debra of Titusville, John Nadolny of Titusville, Sandra Adams and husband John of Russell, PA, and Keith Nadolny of W. Hollywood, CA; the following grandchildren, Amanda, Amber, Linda, and Michael Nadolny, Teshia McQuarrie, Stepanie and Casey Nadolny, Keysha Shaffer, Jessica Ruscher, and Jason Adams; great grandchildren, Tristan Nadolny, Michael Phillips, Aiden Henlin, Shalyn and Summer McWilliams, Sierra Beck, Kaden Ruscher, Taylor, Addison, and Chase McQuarrie, Sawyer Shaffer, and Kaylee Roberts; a sister, Mignon White of Erie; numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend Ann Fredricks. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Brad Nadolny; three brothers, Jake and Louis Hiller, and Kenneth Jones; and three sisters, Sophie Brickner, Clara Roydes, and Annie Hiller. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Walburga Church with Fr. Matthew Ruyechan as celebrant. Interment will be in Kerr Hill Cemetery. The family asks that memorials be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society 2115 W. 8th Street Erie, PA 16505.
