Obituary of David L. Jackson
Mr. David L. “Dave” Jackson, 43, of Troy Center Rd., Titusville passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning April 13, 2015, at his residence.
Dave was born on April 21, 1971, in Oil City to Mina Hancox Jackson and the late John L. Jackson.
He was a graduate of Maplewood High School, class of 1989, and Penn Tech Institute in Williamsport where he was certified in diesel and heavy equipment repair.
Dave was formerly employed with the Pennsylvania Game Commission and has since been employed by Northwest Busing for 20 years as a head mechanic.
He attended Chapmanville Community Church as an adolescent and from time to time as an adult.
Dave enjoyed restoring old garden tractors and ran a business called Jackson’s Custom Allis. He also spent much of his time attending tractor shows and becoming members of many clubs throughout the region.
He especially loved spending time with his 2 nephews.
David is survived by his mother Mina of Titusville; his brother, Duane Jackson and his wife Cathy of Centerville; their 2 sons, Jared and Jacob Jackson; and lots of good friends.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Glen VanCise, officiating.
Interment will be in Chapmanville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Chapmanville Vol. Fire Department.
