Obituary of Helen Graham

Helen Cecelia Graham,89, passed away November 16, 2009 in Quitman,Texas. Helen was born April 29, 1920 in Titusville, PA to Pearl Dennison McDonald and James McDonald. Helen married Frank Henry Graham on February 5, 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, daughter Patricia, brother James McDonald and sisters, Mary Jane Miller and Bernice Murphy. She is survived by her daughter Cecelia (Sis) Graham McAfee and her husband Felton of Emory, TX, sister, Norma Wieland, Titusville, PA, grandsons, Daniel and wife Melissa McAfee, Arlington, TX, Nathan and wife Jesica McAfee, McKinney, TX and granddaughter Ann Marie Hancock and husband Neal of Emory, TX. Also surviving are nine great grandchildren, Lauren, Jacob, Nicholas, Katie, Allison, Alex, Noah, Fiona, and Abigale. Helen was a member of St. Walburga Catholic Church in Titusville and St. Peters Catholic Church in Mineola,TX. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and visiting with friends and families. Private services will be held in Grand Prairie, TX Thursday, November 19th at 2:00 P.M.. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the chapel at St. Catherine’s Cemetery. Following the committal service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband Frank Graham in St. Catherine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Helen’s name to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation.
