Obituary of Peggy Ann Wolford
Peggy Wolford, 83, formerly of Titusville, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh from surgery complications.
She had been a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community in Meadville since 2013.
Peggy was born on February 22, 1932 at Dutch Hill, Clarion County, PA, a daughter of the late George and Twila Kriebel Wolford.
She moved from Dutch Hill to Titusville in 1962 where she resided until moving to Wesbury in 2013. She had been employed for over 18 years with the former Titusville Master Antenna TV as office manager and secretary.
She enjoyed reading, watching TV, and spending time with her friends. She was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed watching the Pirates on TV as well as attending their games in Pittsburgh.
Peggy was the last of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews which include Rodney Thompson and wife Susan, formerly of Titusville, now retired and living in Florida, and Rebekah Thompson Rosequist of Titusville now residing in Florida.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville, PA on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM and on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Phil Torre officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at Dutch Hill, PA.
