Obituary of Kathleen M. Reynolds

Kathleen M. Reynolds, 68, of Guys Mills, PA, passed away Thursday morning May 14, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Kathleen was born on October 27, 1946 in Titusville, a daughter of the late Alfred and Viola Lenniger Brown. She was married to Terry L. Reynolds on March 29, 1965 at Winchester, VA. She had attended the Titusville schools. She and her husband had owned and operated Reynolds Trophy at Frenchtown for 19 years. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, planting flowers, cooking, and sewing. She had also helped coach girls’ softball and was a Girl Scout Leader. Kathleen is survived by her husband of Guys Mills; three children, Pamela Swarthout and husband Rodney of Hubbard, OH, Shelly Kovacs and husband Jim of Chagrin Falls, OH, and Denice Reynolds of Guys Mills; five grandchildren, Stacy and Olivia Swarthout of Hubbard, OH, Janelle Hamann and wife Abby of Kennewick, Wash., Jim Kovacs of Chagrin Falls, OH, and Ashley Reynolds of Guys Mills; five brothers, Jack Brown and wife Pam of Rapid City, SD, Terry Brown and wife Blanch of Springfield, OH, Patrick Brown and wife Patty of Titusville, Richard Brown and wife Kathy of Meadville, and Mike Brown and wife Sara of Brandon, Mississippi; a sister, Janice Wilson and husband Robert of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Isabella Brown and Mary Guntrum. Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Pastor Gary Kinnear officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
