Obituary of Anna Marie Walsh
Mrs. Anna Marie Walsh, 73, of 317 W. Elm St. Titusville, died at 5:00 PM Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at UPMC Montifiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Walsh was born on January 19, 1937 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Victor and Roseanna Fligel Kaslewicz. She was married to John J. Walsh on June 16, 1956 in Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Walsh had attended St. Titus Church. She enjoyed flower gardening, yard sales and flea markets. She especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Walsh had been employed in the home health care industry for a number of years.
Mrs. Walsh is survived by her husband of Titusville; two sons, Jack Walsh and his wife Jacquelyn of Mechanicsburg and Erick Walsh and his wife Anita of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Madonna Walsh of Titusville and Rosie Aul of Centerville; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, William Kaslewicz of Crafton; two sisters, Helen Tomasic and her husband Lawrence of Forest Hills, PA and Catherine Chilleo of Coraopolis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Scott Walsh; a granddaughter, Heather Rose Aul; a son-in-law, Matt Aul; and a brother, Victor Kaslewicz.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville today (Friday) from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A vigil service will be recited at 4:45 PM Friday at the funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Titus Church with Fr. D.G. Davis III, pastor of the Titusville catholic community, as celebrant.
The family asks that memorials be made to the American Heart Association; Goodwill Industries; or to Associated Charities.
