Obituary of Raymond L. Tucker
Mr. Raymond L. Tucker, 64, of 388 Enterprise Rd., Titusville died at 7:42 AM on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie.
Mr. Tucker was born on May 25, 1945 at West Hickory to the late Raymond A. and Mae Wilson Tucker. He married Carol Miller on January 8, 1966 at the Church of the Nazarene in Titusville.
He was formerly employed by the Penn Theatre and Auto Drive-In. He retired from Union Drilling formerly known as Ipsco Drilling.
Mr. Tucker was a former member of the Pleasantville Vol. Fire Dept. He was currently active with the Cherrytree Vol. Fire Dept. and the Venango County Fire Police.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, watching his sons and grandsons race 4-wheelers, and he also enjoyed watching NASCAR and his favorite driver Dave Blaney.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife Carol Tucker of Enterprise; five children, Joanne McKean and husband Jeff of Cherrytree, Robert Tucker of Enterprise, Betty Hammock and husband Joshua of Titusville, Brandie Olsen and husband Tim of Cochranton, Raymond F. Tucker of Enterprise; nine grandchildren, Scott McKean and wife Jessica, Elizabeth McKean, Raymond Tucker II, Brittany Tucker, Ryan Tucker, Karie Stadler, Cynthia Hammock, Zackery Olsen, Justin Olsen; two great-grandchildren, Devin McKean and Kaydence McKean; two brothers, Carl Tucker and wife Dorothy of Grand Valley, Elmer Tucker of Guys Mills; three sisters, Inez Tucker of Polk, Abbie Long, Violet Tucker of Townville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Moore; and three brothers, Merle Tucker, Tom Tucker and Danny Tucker.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Stephenson of the Cochranton Community Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Jamison Corners Cemetery.
