Obituary of Joan Louise Miller

               Mrs. Joan Louise Holcomb Miller, 64, of Pleasantville, passed away, on Friday, June 16, 2017 surrounded by her family at home.

               Joan was born on May 1, 1953 in Titusville to the late Harold and Margaret Colbert Holcomb. She married Gerald A. Miller on November 20, 1971 at St. John’s Church in Tidioute.

               She was a graduate of Youngsville High School class of 1971.

               Joan worked at various jobs such as Blair Corp., the Pleasantville grocery store, Southwoods Assisted Living, and for Dr. Koblinski.

               She was a member of the Newton Dinner Club, enjoyed scrapbooking, collecting Grand Valley memorabilia, canning, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

               Joan is survived by her husband Gerald of Pleasantville; two sons, Christopher Miller and wife Jennifer of Pleasantville, and William Miller and wife Mary of Grand Valley; two grandchildren, Peyton and Chloe Miller both of Pleasantville; three brothers, Daniel Holcomb and wife Debbie of Charlotte, NC, Thomas Holcomb and wife Sally of Patillion, NE, and Edward Holcomb and wife Linda of Titusville.

               In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a close aunt, Kathy Case.   

               No public calling hours will be observed.  A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 5:00 PM at the Grand Valley Vol. Fire Dept. with Rev. Jerry Drake, officiating.

               Inurnment will be at Sanford Cemetery.
