Condolences
I was very saddened to hear of David's passing. We were in high school together, it is very hard to believe he is gone.
“Yes, death. Death must be so beautiful. To lie in the soft brown earth, with the grasses waving above one's head, and listen to silence. To have no yesterday, and no to-morrow. To forget time, to forget life, to be at peace. You can help me. You can open for me the portals of death's house, for love is always with you, and love is stronger than death is.”
― Oscar Wilde, The Canterville Ghost
My love to the family and all that loved him.
Very sad to hear of David's passing. Ran into him in Erie a few years ago and I hadn't seen him for years. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and my thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends.
So sorry for your loss, I remember going to the Eggleston house when I was younger with my mom and my grandma Lackey to visit Evelyn and the family. My Uncle was Walter Eggleston. Keeping all of you in our prayers. May all the wonderful memories of David bring you peace, comfort, and strength.
