Obituary of David P. Eggleston

Mr. David P. Eggleston, 57, of 505 W. 5th St. Erie, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 5:18 PM at Select Specialty Hospital in Erie.

    David was born on May 23, 1960 in Titusville to the late Stanley and Evelyn Markley Eggleston..

    He attended Titusville schools and was a graduate of Titusville High School.

    David had previously worked Weyerhaeuser Lumber before his illness.

    He was an accomplished guitar player, enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, and was known for his sense of humor.

    David is survived by his son David T. Eggleston of Titusville; a brother Stanley Eggleston of Cottonwood, Arizona, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and Richard Elslager and Aaron Kinney who he considered his sons.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Andrea Eggleston, Frances Thompson, and Charlotte Gratkowski, and a brother Brian J Eggleston.

    No calling hours will be observed. Family and friends may attend a memorial service on Saturday, September 23,2017 at 2 PM at the Cleo J. Ross American Legion Post 368, 113 East Central Avenue Titusville  Ypu are encouraged to bring a dish to share for the memorial service.
